This is what happens when you get thrown out of your routine

Sorry to have missed five whole days of posting. I have been so busy working on a project that I hope will secure my financial security for years to come that I have neglected all of my blogs.

So, back on track.

We're two-thirds of the way through January. How is your weight program coming?

The whole weight loss project, Weight Loss Without Tears, is all about losing weight gradually. The reason why it's important to lose weight gradually is because people who drop weight quickly typically put it all back on again in a matter of months - or within 5 years.

If you lose weight gradually, however, by altering your living habits in baby steps, then it is that much easier to maintain your new living habits - which is what you must do to ensure that you are able to maintain your new, healthy weight for the rest of your life.

So remember - gradualness is the key.
