Don't be afraid of feeling hungry

Although I preach that, over the course of time your appetite will grow smaller as you eat less, you do have to do some work.

Frankly, don't be afraid of feeling hungry! As long as you don't feel like you're starving. You don't want to wait so long between meals that, when you finally do eat, you'll eat twice as much as normal because you feel so hungry.

That's why it's actually okay to snack between meals - as long as you're doing something like carrots or an apple...something more healthy than a candy bar - which should never be a snack, it should always be a dessert. Or even drink a bit of water, that will take the edge off the hunger as well.

The reason why don't want to starve yourself - for example limiting yourself to two meals a day or whatever...is because the hungrier you feel, the more chances there will be that when you eventually do eat, you'll over eat.
